The Mathematics program of the Moorestown Township Public Schools is guided by the Common Core Standards that were adopted by the state of New Jersey in June of 2010. The standards were developed in collaboration with teachers, school administrators, and experts to provide a clear and consistent framework to prepare our students for college and the workforce.

 

 
     
Summer Math Packets
Summer Testing Information/Textbook Sign Out

WAMS Summer Testing
  • Summer placement tests will be administered at WAMS on July 22nd OR August 12th. Tests are 90 minutes. Students are permitted to test one time only.
  • Please bring several #2 pencils and meet in the WAMS Main Lobby by 8:45am.
  • Information for Rising 7th and Rising 8th grade students who are interested in testing into a higher math placement can be found HERE.
  • Rising 7th and Rising 8th grade students can register for the summer placement test HERE.

High School Testing Out of a Course
  • Midterm Exams will be administered on July 22 at WAMS; Final Exams will be administered on August 12 at WAMS. Exams are 1 hour, 45 minutes.
  • Please bring two number 2 pencils and an appropriate calculator, and meet in the WAMS lobby by 8:45am.
  • A student must earn a score of 90% or better on the Midterm Exam and Final Exam to qualify for exemption. A student must meet the 90% score on the Midterm Exam to be eligible to participate in the Final Exam.
  • No grade or credit will be awarded for the exempted course. It will not be included on the transcript.
  • To assist students with studying, Midterm and Final Exam Review Packets will be available in the HS Main Office on July 6, 2015.
  • Register by completing the FORM by June 1, 2015.

Textbook Information - HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY
Books will be left on the counter in the HS main office for pick-up based on the schedule below. Availability is limited and NOT ALL books are available. A balance of $100 will appear on the account of students requesting textbooks. Failure to return the textbooks will prevent students from receiving their schedules prior to school opening in September. Books are due back to the MHS main office by August 24, 2015. For any books not returned by August 24, 2015, the student's account will be charged the full, non-refundable cost of the book.

Requests made by Friday, June 19 will be available Wednesday, July 1.
Requests made by Wednesday, July 1 will be available Monday, July 13.
Final requests MUST BE MADE BY Wednesday, July 15 and will be available Monday, July 27.
REQUESTS CANNOT BE FILLED AFTER WEDNESDAY, JULY 13.​
